Reap Account Overview
A Reap account with Payments API access has several key characteristics:
- One account owner: This is the entity that was KYBed, and is the sender of all payments created from this account.
- For a Reap dashboard (Reap Pay), the sender will be your organization, since the payments are coming from an account tied to your legal entity.
- For PaaS program (payments on behalf), the sender will be the entity for which you have created a Managed Account and are making payments on behalf of.
- Dashboard interface: Here you can see information about your payments, wallets, API keys, account owner, and also manage team settings. Please note that at the moment, this dashboard is for information purposes, payments can only be created via the Payments API endpoints.
- Unique API keys: You can generate unique API keys for accessing our production and sandbox environments from the dashboard.
- Unique fund-in wallets: Dedicated wallet addresses for each of our supported funding networks, available through the dashboard.
Creating your Reap account
You can submit your information directly via our dedicated Payments API client signup link. Our Compliance Team will review the application and respond within a few days. If you already have a Reap account, please reach out to a Reap team member to help setup a second account dedicated to using the Payments API. Once you have a Payments-API-enabled account, you will be able to proceed with the API integration itself.
If you are creating your first account with Reap and would like to first get a taste of Reap's payments capabilities, we recommend you first signup for a Reap account for our direct dashboard products. This will give you access to all of our card and payment capabilities for your own use and will help you understand what our API offerings can offer.
