Use Cases
Our Payments API supports two main use cases:
- Purchase of goods and services: The sender has purchased a good or service (e.g. equipment) from the recipient.
- Inter-company transfers: The sender and recipient are legally-associated entities (e.g. holding company sending funds to a subsidiary).
Payments in both use cases must be sufficiently supported by documentation that can be requested by the Reap team at any time.
Other Key Details
- No 1st party payments: The sender and the recipient cannot be the same legal entity
- Only account owner can fund their account: The entity that sends Reap funds must be the already-KYBed-and-approved entity that owns the account. This applies across all payments programs, including PaaS Reliance.
- Only business clients: All senders of payments, across all payment programs, must be legally established businesses.
